Autumn Coppejans is the owner of Empathic Evolution Counseling LLC.

Autumn is a Licensed Professional Counseling Candidate currently offering counseling services at Higher Sights Counseling. Originally from the Midwest, Autumn received a BA in Journalism and a BA in Graphic Design from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. After many years exploring various professions in the publishing, legal, and hospitality worlds while also building her own business, Autumn felt a calling to be a counselor. She attended DePaul University in Chicago to pursue a Masters of Education, focusing on school counseling and clinical counseling. Autumn is currently a high school counselor at a large, public high school in the Denver Metro area and is able to offer clients evening and weekend sessions.

Autumn believes that every person has a story worth hearing and clients are the experts of their own life. She hopes to gain the trust of her clients by building their self-awareness and using strength-based coping skills to improve their quality of life. Autumn focuses her practice around choice theory/reality therapy, empowering her clients to see the aspects of their life that they can and cannot control and respond to. She also uses a CBT approach to challenge thoughts and feelings that do not serve the client in a positive manner. Autumn also utilizes solution-focused therapy to create goals to move the client forward in their journey.

Autumn has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and adults who struggle with a variety of challenges such as: anxiety, depression, relational issues, self-esteem, identity exploration, anger management and trauma. Autumn’s passion in life is to serve, love and encourage others to reach for their potential and live a life they love.
